The Puppet Master's Stage Performance....

So here I am! This is what I have been up to! Don't have much to work with right now...so it pushes me to work outside the box...or ...in it for that matter LOL

What we have here is a cycled up box mailer...like I say...use what you have...I have created a theater! A working theater! Mechanical but by what else strings...what else would a puppet master use?! lol

Listen if you will...using your imagination....hear the song in your head from the wonderful musical "The Sound of Music"...in the musical the children and care provider/teacher (Juile Andrews) in their lovely puppet show they put on! Do you hear the music yet? You know the one....with the little goats and the little gal (yoodeler)? Yoooodelaaaaaaaaaaheeeeeeehooooo! Got it now? Yes that's the one!

The puppet master for this performance has created her very own stage to act out how sometimes life (the goat-to the right of piece) kicks you in the ...I'll be nice here....butt! And then you pick yourself up and dust yourself off and kick life right back...again...in the butt (the other goat to the left of the piece) This is where I am at right now. Kicking goats AHEM!  lifes butt~! lol  And this is how this piece all came about. A few more little details to add...a bit more paint touch-ups and I can call it good...just thought I would stop in and say hi and show you what I am doing.

I do have another stage performance piece that I am working on and will show that soon....all it needs is lights and a music box ....I think your gonna like it!!

It has been 5 whole days! I was thinking..."Really?....5 days?!....I guess I really havent been good at kicking my hubby out of my computer chair huh? LOL Audrey...I do...very  much...appreciate and love the award....Thank you! I have hope of being here more and try to inspire as many souls as I can in my lifetime!!!

Oh! Hey! It snowed early this morning....my 21 year old daughter Sarah took this photo at just past Midnight (yes that is considered morning lol) Take a look!

***GRIN*** "Ha Ha Ha old man (to her dad) after it LOL He just does not like snow one bit!

And just what was she doing out there at that time...we had had a long long looooong day at the doctors office...to find out she has Pneumonia (walking Pneumonia)....Poor dear.

Look who is trying his best to sit up!!! Awwwwwww Gabe! You are just the cutest little man!! Love you sugar bear!

 

"Insomnia" Hope I spelled that right!? Anywho that is the extent of my sleeping or not so sleeping habits these days....ugh...except for last night after our not so pleasant time of waiting and waiting and waiting at the doctors office...I was quite wore out and slept somewhat like a log but from what my hubby said...all over the place...said...that I took over ALL the pillows and slept sideways for the most part of the night...funny to me...but not so funny for him!

AAAAAAAnywayyyyyyss...Not my favorite piece of art but it definately says what needs to be said.

I was able to slip in next to my hubby whilst he was working at the puter desk....where my puter sits also...offline of course...and get a whoppin load of collage element sheets done for my group Collage Play with Crowabout....a miracle in itself I might add...but it is true I have some fun stuff lined up for those wonderfully talented artist members of the group!!! I have not been able to be online like I would like to be since hubby works online most of the time and we have to take turns (***cough*** he doesn't share equally LOL) I just kind of non chalantly(sp) ease up by the desk and steal the mouse hehehhehehe and do what work I can offline...a bit crowded but I GIT ER DUN...LOL

If there is anyone...while I have not been here AHEM (directed at mr. man) that have emailed with their request to join Collage Play with Crowabout and have not received an invite to the group.........PLEASE EMAIL ME....Please! I do not want anyone who has requested to join to feel left out!! To Helen...I've got your back girl! Your invite is on it's way!! I just know I have missed a few requests...so email me again and I do apologize for not getting to it sooner....AND while I am out and about I will by ME my OWN notebook to write these down in so WHEN it is MY time to use the COMPUTER...I will be ready...and not starry eyed from not knowing WHOM and WHO I haven't sent invites to!! That was not directed towards anyone who has interest in the group LOL ...Don't get me wrong I love my hub so dearly...and I know he works extremely hard for his job...but I do miss you all and I do miss me....I am sure some of you know what I am talking about!

I just know I am forgetting something...but with the little time I have on here it has to be quick so please understand for my ranting and raving or what ever you want to call it....We're good right???!! lol

Cute babies, new art and computer hogs.....

 

I am so happy my little Grandbaby Gabe is home and we got to celebrate his very first Halloween and Trick or Treat with him!!! I captured this photo just as we got out of our mini van to go haunt us up some treats!! Now I may be his Grandma...but isn't just the cutest little lion you ever did see?! I could just eat him up! Those sweet cubby cheeks, little hands and little feet with such adorable tiny toes!!

He is quite the busy one since he has come back home! He has rolled over...trying to get his first teeth in (oh im sure you know how fun that is lol)...he wants to sit up so bad but his belly is so chubby and his bum bum so round oh what joy he brings me! He is babbling and trying to spit out words...so far "blah blah" is his first closeness to a word...we are still not sure what it means to him but none the less it cute! Oh and he loves to imitate his Grandpa...when Grandpa coughs he fakes a cough...way too funny! :O)

Ok, so while I was gone...not willingly might I add...I did manage to get some art done...and lots of cleaning (ugh) I assure you that, that wasn't so willingly either LOL Where have I been you ask? I will tell you....Since my hub is now working remote from home...and as you know...one and only one internet connection....he has been on the computer non stop...literally! I told him he needs to quit holding my computer hostage for so long...I have a life too LOL Sheesh! I apologize to all my readers and my group members....oh how I miss you all so much!!  This will not happen again....I swear! Even if at midday I have to overturn the computer chair with my hub in it LOL :OP on you mister mister!

 

Speaking of which! Here is the puter hog at Halloween! LMAO!

I'm gonna get a hurtin' ...I just know it! LOL

 

This is my daughter Tima...the skinny little thing she is...I really don't know where she puts that big heart of hers at!! :O) What a princess!

 

And my butterfly fairy Jessica....I am sure she will try to keep this outfit and try to wear it when she is 90! lol

I am back!!!

 

Whilst I was away.....I was totally bored without my internet...but I did find a bit of a pasttime taking some photos of my backyard....if you want to call it that....but I will tell you one thing...there are many beautiful things to see while relaxing on my back porch!! These first few photos were taken one very foggy morning! Yes! there is even beauty in dense fog! This first photo is one of my favorites...

 

This photo is my hubs favorite!  

This one I could stare at for hours!!! I really think photos would be much more fun to take without the annoying power lines running through them! LOL And I haven't a clue how to edit them....no I don't use photoshop...and again...wouldn't have a clue how to use it LOL I am a simple person who likes simplicity in things...I could live without t.v. ....I hear ya....No I cannot live without my computer! LOL Though sometimes it is much more a pain than it is worth and these last few weeks without interent and a my way to connect with the world...drove me absolutely mad!!! It took two weeks to get someone out here to set us back up! And I think by the photos you can understand why...cuz we live way out in the boonies! lol  The good thing that happened out of all this...is that I have a new neighbor And a new friend! I am thinking this kind of friendship could be a lifelong one!! We are having fun learning about each other and our little quirks (which as you know I have quite a few lol) Planning things together like spending Thanksgiving and Christmas together and sharing the meals that go along with them! What a blessing she is! I must have an angel in heaven to send me such a wonderful gift!

I suppose you want to see some art huh?? I did do a bit of art while away in my art journal....

 

These photos were taken on my back porch! I thought the aged boards were a great place to take photos of my journal!! OHhhhhh you should be here at 7:30 am...to watch the deer come down to feed on apples and grass in the pasture and drink from the pond behind our home!! Beautiful...I must remember to take my camera out in the morning with my coffee in tow!!

 

This has got to be my favorite art journal entry in my black white and red journal!! So what if there is blue in it!!! I think she is beautiful...I love the way watercolor pencils just flow....I have not experimented with them so much...but I may use them more often now!!! ;O)

 

Ok so this photo didn't really capture the journal entry well....The photo is actually an old postcard and I am sorry I don't remember whom or where I may have gotten it! But it resides now in my journal behind an old envelope window (you know the plasticy noisey ones? that make that crinkley sound?) and then used packing tape to adhere it to my page!!! I was weird how I came about that tape....I was wishing that I had some of this kind of tape and some masking tape...and someone must of heard my thoughts...because in walked my hub who found both kinds of tape lurking in our garage!!! Now how cool is that!!? lol

I think I will save the rest of my pages for another post...I am still sending out invites to those who have inquired about the Collage Play with Crowabout!! I do so apologize for not being able to send them out sooner...but with no internet I was hopelessly at a loss! If you did not receive your invite...it is because I do not have your email addy! ***wink wink*** lol I will see if I can track those people down to see if I can find their addy!!!

I have actually been able to get a bit of art done even though between my hubby and I we cannot figure out what is wrong with my color laser printer...everytime we switch it to print in color it switches back to grayscale all on it's own. Now there's a head scratcher for you lol...I've never had any problems with this printer in the year that I've had it! It was always the running out of toner issue! I am at wits end with it!

I still don't like my new internet provider...it's pretty much touch and go and doesn't like to open pages when doing searches and plus our home phone is hooked up to this computer..so if the internet isn't cooperating the phone doesn't want to either. I'm sure you know what I could say about that lol.  Sooooooo I got a Tracfone....again...touch and go with that. Arrrrrrrgh! Does anything work!? LOL I am this close to pulling all my hair out LOL
