"Sweet Sweet Summertime Dreams" created on 8.5" x 11" cardstock
It's Friday....it's cold, it's windy as heck and the skies are threatening rain...AAAAAgain! We've had this kind of weather off and on for over a week and this is where this art piece came about!
Oh gosh my tummy is growling...it is almost noon and I still haven't eaten breakfast! LOL
Anywho! While I was creating this piece...I was dreaming...that happens alot lol...more like my brain drifting off somewhere unknown lol....back to what I was saying...I was dreaming ..that wouldn't it be nice to let the guys take over the domestic stuff and all us gals run away to somewhere warm...like the Bahama's for instance! lol Forget cooking those pancakes....put down the mop and broom...the ironing...etc etc...pack a bag and take off to the tropical places....where we can drink margaritas and enjoy the sun!!?? Heck I'm there! lol
"Sweet Sweet Summertime Dreams" is available now on ETSY !
Glad you could stop by and dream with me!
xoxo

Love the way you've used a ton of red and black. This is fabulous!

HI!
I am a new visitor to your blog. Your stuff is so unigue. Have you ever heard of Michal Negrin?
She is an Israeli jewelry designer. My husband is Israeli. I love going into her stores. I think there may even be one in New York...not sure.
Anyway, your stuff reminds me of here. Check her out...

I am dreaming of warm balmy summer days too. It is cold here in southern CA again this morning and supposed to rain later. We are in that warm one day, cold the next transition which is torture sometimes.
You have me dreaming with this beautiful piece too. It is "zesty"! You were right about the artist I was thinking of. There are some similarities but I love the main images you create that just draw me and keep me so involved in all that surrounds them. Just gorgeous, again!
