"Daisy" on 8.5" x 11" cardstock
Not sure if she is done just yet but she sure is a charmer! Just feels like it needs something...While creating this piece I was thinking back...way back...to grade school when I played in a school musical as Daisy! Some of you may remember the tune...Daisy daisy give me your answer due...I'm half crazy..over the love of you!...I think that is how it goes...at least from what my pea brain can remember...which isn't saying much! LOL All I really remember is being nervous as heck!!
Speaking of being scared as heck! Have you ever trying mowing a lawn...I should say a couple acres...on a riding mower? On sloping hills and lots of dips to boot??? HOLY HECK! lol I mowed maybe not even an 1/8th of the land and stopped and said, "OK! THATS IT...THATS ENOUGH SCARING THE HECK OUT OF MYSELF FOR ONE DAY" !! lol WHEW! I will have to get you a view from the road with a photo of the land! Lawdy! All I can say is when my hub gets back home...weeks from now...he's a dead man! LOL If it ain't a push mower...I am not attempting that again...unless someone wants to flatten out the land...which won't happen! lol We need those hills for drainage for as much water that falls from the sky here in TN. Hmmphf! :op ~~~~~~~
That is about all for now....Now just to invest in nerve pills or find the nearest margaritaville and I will be good as new! LOL
Later all! Hugs and love!

I adore both of these pieces! Daisy is a cutie pie. Not a Madonna fan but you're right about that song...it does make ya wanna dance. lol
Hey, why do you think our yard is the scourge of the neighborhood? I'm not mowing this hillside...no way! lol
Peace & Love,

Oh, Nancy! More beautiful work. I took time today, unlike my usual so-excited-about-what-I-see-I-can't-wait-to-tell-you quick skim, to really look at all of the details in each piece and you are just amazing in all of the little pieces you pull together as if they have been together forever and created to be just as you put them. So very gorgeous! I am in awe.
You crack me up with the lawn mowing. I'm afraid for you! I picture some of I Love Lucy episode for some reason. Wish I was there to help you and make sure you are safe! Hire someone to do it for you so you can keep making art and stay alive! My logic would be, rolling hills are supposed to look natural so don't mow them!
Have a good safe weekend, keeping all of your appendages!
