My right click is on vacation....ugh!

Ahh-ha! Here I am....took me awile to get to my computer...sorry...and when I did...My right click on my mouse stopped working...so I had to rethink my editing program...**sigh** Always something isn't it?! LOL

Anywho! I am back with some new stuff in my art journal! Still catching up with MIsty-Mawn and 31 Days of Art Journaling...I did finish the 7 Days of Color...but I still have to find "Yellow"... I will however show you "Pink" LOL Ya well you know me...my memory is not what it used to be...a bit of a scatter brain! :oP

I prolly won't follow the suggestions for this challenge...not all the time...and you should know me by now....I don't follow the rules very well! LOL I usually end up doing my own thing...following my path...etc etc

I am just about finished with my so-called "Black white and red journal".and as you can see it is no longer just those colors....why?...no idea...I guess we could just go back and read the statement above LOL

Things change...we change...we just embrace it and keep on going...letting the new and different happen!

Ah what the heck...how about one more!

7 Days of Color...Green...Day 12 for me with Misty-Mawn 

 

7 Days of Color ....erm...white?! Eh well..I created

My work does not feel completed...as I stated before...but I feel as long as I am creating, I am being productive. In a way these last two pieces are self-portraits..but in a different self...a different state of mind...something is changing. Constantly. Nothing stays the same for very long.

Gots to go...got dinner to take out of the oven! Oh and for those interested...if I can get near the computer tonight...I may have some more goodies!!!!!! Hmmm....got to do a give away some...thinking to do!

Catching up....9, 10, 11....7 Days of Color

 

Day 9 Yes, I know today is the 13th of January...still playing catch up...

Not liking this page....maybe it is suppose to have that unfinished look...no idea

 

7 Days of Color...Blue...and boy is it! LOL The page not me! I'm learning to let go...and that is exactly what the hand signs are saying for me....Letting Go...and please tell me why every time I paint or draw (not using an already made image) my self-portraits.......they always look sad? Why is that? Maybe my sub-concious is still having a hard time??? Beats me! Anywho!

 

7 Days of Color...Orange...well my Black, Red and White art journal is no longer dedicated to those 3 colors lol...I think this challenge will help me push through this journal and start another soon!

Day 8...Still behind

 

Day 8 ...Erm...self portrait???  Using magazine images...no I am definately not a redhead...nothing wrong with red hair...3 out of 5 of my children have red or redish hair. But the images in their own way...the expressions and feelings I wanted to accomplish...are me...a wish was made...I hope it comes true...if it does not show itself in a given time...I will move on...I will try

Day 5 of 31 Days of Art Journaling...and still 2 days behind...I WILL catch up here eventually!

 

Day 6.....Some of these pages feel more finished then others...Some with more words...some with only one word...like this one...and sometimes....one words says it all

 

This one feels undone....maybe it was suppose to be simple...and maybe because I was suprised to see the sun...after so many days of rain...I am sure that my face looked simular to the little girls face pasted on this page....not to mention heavy winds...weeeeeeeeeeee

Day 3 & 4.....And where is my cat?!

 

Day 3 of 31 days of Art Journaling....Sorry about the digi look...eh my scanner...I really like this page!

 

Day 4...I am catching up...working on Day 5 today...hopefully catch up tonight or tomorrow with a couple pages! I scanned this one twice but a shadow keeps showing up on the left side of the page!

Please keep in mind I was not sad while doing this page...there was a mention of self-portraits in the challenge...So this was my results! Does not much look like me...maybe in some ways...especially the hair...a new cut and style...a gift I gave myself and enjoyed my day of pampering! :O)

But today...I am feeling a bit sad...my cat Mr. Felix...has gone missing and going on day four now...I have an aweful feeling about him...I miss him terribly!

 

Come home baby!! We miss you!! Please say a little prayer that he does! I know to some people he's just a cat....for us here at Crowabout...he is a family member...Please come home!!!!

January Journal ...Day 2 for me 6 for everyone else lol

 

I have alot of catching up to do for Misty-Mawn's 31 days of art journaling challenge! I will catch up! In fact I am working on one tonight...I have all my lovely papers glued down and ready for journaling!

Rain rain rain...go away...come back....on a humid summer day...It has been raining and raining and raining...you get the picture...tired of looking at it!

I have spent the whole day working...cutting paper..cleaning house...cutting paper...and more paper...and many ideas to keep me busy for quite awhile! More on that another time! :O)

And yes I do have more destashing to do for those interested! But not tonight! I am exhausted lol and still need to do my journaling...which is okay by me...I can prop up pillows in my bed and relax as I write...doodle...etc!

Dream Chaser....

 

Seems I am always biting off more than I can chew....taking chances...diving in feet first, not knowing where I will end up til I get there...leaps of faith........They all some way....some how...all work out in the end...always hold your head up and believe in things you cannot see...and most of all believe in you!!! I do! Everyone has what it takes to make dreams come true!! Believe...dream...and always take time to play!!

The first piece (above) is from my Art Journal for  THIS !! Many journal artists I have never heard of and some that I recognize! HERE you will find the list of artists check out their daily art journal entries for January 2009! I have alot of new sites and creative souls to see! :O) Misty Mawn is an awesome artist...I have been a silent vistor of her blog until today...I seen this little challenge on her blog and said to myself, "Heck why not!" "Why shouldn't I?!" Come on I dare ya~! hee hee

 

Then there is this...and yet another Art Page..."Awakened" 9x12

Pssst! You can actually see the sparkly glitter on the flower (top left) *giggle*   I have also, been spending time creating collage sheets from my own work to use again and again...in this piece you can see alot of it...FUN...ahhh crud...you can hardly see the right side border...the piece is larger than my scanner bed...and so, life goes on! ;O)

I am off to go check out all the lovely journal artists!!!
