You are going to love this one! So easy! and you get some really cool results with this technique!
All you will need is:
Paper (cardstock or watercolorpaper or whatever you have on hand)
Old credit card ( I save all those empty gift cards )
Acrylic paint (what ever colours you would like to use)
News paper or old plastic table cloth to cover your work surface
Paper towels or old rags
Thats it ! Are you ready to play and make a good mess LOL
First off cover your work surface with newspaper.....have all the other supplies handy....this is a quick process and you can do many backgrounds in just a few minutes...and have backgrounds already prepared for your next project! I dont know about you but a white piece of paper just intimidates me LOL.....Ok here we go!!!
Sorry once again for my poor camera skills!
Step one....dot the paper randomly with acrylic paint...I just squeeze it directly from the bottle...but careful not to squeeze to hard lol.....
Step Two: Take that old credit card and drag thru the paint...see how it mixes into other cool colours!!! Yippy!
You will have to experiment with this technique....certain colours you might want to wipe of the credit card or you will end up with a muddy effect....or you can take whats on that card and swipe it over another piece of paper.....thats it!!!! Easy hu! Let me see your results!!!!!!
Here is mine....psst this is the backgrounds I have been using for my lastest journal art pages! Now you have something ready and waiting for you when you want to play! You can do a bunch of these so you have plenty of backgrounds to work on!!
Happy Creating!!!!
Nance
