Out of the blue ...and pink!
New work on canvas! 9" x 12" canvas panel ala shabby chic style!
I have no idea where this came from! Y'all know that shabby chic is just not me! LOL I had a time scanning this piece..blurry yes..bigger than the scanner ..yes! But I am really loving how this piece turned out! The online bit does not do it justice! Titled "Play Wish."
A little while back the beautiful and talented ArtJunk aka Lia invited me to www.facebook.com Paulette is over there too! I seen that Paulette had added her wonderful youtube video of her at work in her studio and that got me a thinkin! I thought...since I cannot get out and about to teach...why not do a video!! Hmmmm! It might not be real soon as I have to work out all the in's and out's for it! I know I don't always get to what I say I want to do or going to do..so I am a procrastinator LOL.. But I thought what a wonderful way I could teach! So, then I thought why not ask everyone what they would like to see...just a video of me at work? An art journal class ala Crowabout? Tutorials? Give me some ideas here..it would help me to get off my lazy arse and do something fun with y'all for a change! Whatcha think?!
I woke up at 5am! wtf! LOL I was having hot flashes! LOL ugh! And hubby complains at night about the bedroom being an icebox! So he turns of the AC...(mumble, grumble complain) I told him it is either that or I take up space in our freezer LOL Serious! It gets that warm for me! Tonight I am telling him to bundle up it's gonna be a chilly night in the house! LOL
I had an out of the blue visitor to my blog last night! My brother! Larry!!!!! Yay! BTW Larry check your email sweetie! hee hee I sure hope he visits here more often! AND GET A BLOG DAMMIT! LOL So all us gals can visit with you! And so I can see what gorgeous creations you've been making!!!! Larry is so very talented in so many ways and I would so love it if he would share his daily thoughts with us! Ahem! Love you Larry with all my heart and missing you bunches! Gosh I wish we were closer so we could go out again! Larry and I hit a karaoke bar one time and had such fun! He sings so well too! And what fun he is to hang out with!
There are so many things I miss about living in the North West...Most of all family! And the other knowing my way around town where I was actually driving then. Unlike here in SC. Although the town I was living in, in WA had a lot of crime and gangs...so that part I don't miss.
Ok enough of that! I am outtie here for the moment! Got to find me some breakfast!
