Todays art journal pages...I decided to do a spread towards the center of the book....centerfold ***tee hee hee***
Great fun it was....horrible mess to clean up LOL ....One day I will have a studio again...for now the living room...a tiny desk...and the floor....One day I will be able to leave the mess....and walk away lol
Not much else to say...so I will leave you with the art journal pages to tell my story ;O)

Guess your wondering why there are single pages..and where is the art journal at...well...it was getting so thick that pages were coming out! LOL So I have taken it apart till I am finished...pressing the pages to lay flat under a heavy book...so when I am finished with all my pages I can slip them back in easily! And of course fix a few punched holes that tore on the books growing thickness! Eh well...I will make it work! :O)

Been gone awhile...living life...nowadays...posting daily is not for me like it used to be...things change...you change...and you enjoy it while it is right in front of you.
Just when you think...things are grand...someone poops on your parade...why??!!...Is what I want to know...now think on this...Really...how long does it take to find out who you are?...and to keep your identity safe?...I think I live a rather honest life...and good in general...I do my best to do what is right...THEN WHY...tell me...would someone want to just take my identity?? You spend alot of your life trying to figure out who you are as it is...Anywho....I fixed their apple cart!!! hahahahahaha
Still it bugs me!
And just how do you find your voice again....
by playing and being who you are....
I am enjoying my art journal...and I know I haven't created any art for sale...Things have changed for me...and right now...my art journal...is my art...is my life...it is me. This is where I need and want to be at this moment! I do know it will be hard to go back to my colorful funky art...something is different now...I may go back to it...maybe...maybe not...who knows! But this is where I am right now...
And now...I am headed out to my porch with really great scenery...***note to self..take photos of all the beautiful fall colors for my blog*** and play in my art journal to take my thoughts back to where it was before the stolen identity crisis!! CHEERS! ***as I toast*** to the idiot who WILL NOT get another dime from me!!!!!!! :OP

Pages from my new art journal!
The colors seem to be choosing themselves in Black White and Red...not too sure how long that will last...you know me...I love color!! But the vintagey feel of this old scrapbook, I would like to try to keep it with the colors that have evolved!
My camera is not cooperating like I want it to be...of course I have had no training in Photography! Well. that's apparent LOL As you can see this first photo turned out bright....and then the next, not so bright....
See what I mean! lol It is not the camera itself...it's the operator! Again I hear my Dad telling me..."You have to be 10% smarter than the equipment your working with." Thank you once again Dad! LOL ...At least I took the photo! Right?! The book itself is too large to scan...I think! No, I am pretty sure it is!
I need to get busy constructing my other journal for my loose leaf pages...I have the idea and everything planned out for it...and I have no excuse( ok there is, but at the moment I have a creative block on a page I started...the inspiration will come) not to work on it today! I should also, add something to the black white and red art journal cover...if you have seen it...it's a little on the boring side. But not today...I want to get the other journal put together, if anything alter the folders that the pages will be housed in! If you have not seen the first few pages(black white and red) that I've finished just jump on over to my Flickr...you can find my Flickr over in the right sidebar!

Sorry to disappear on you like that! My DH left for Boston on Sunday and it has only been a short few days since he left and already feels like months!
I'm hopeless LOL I miss him so much! He will be traveling there for the remainder of the year and coming home every other weekend! Well they picked a heck of a time to start this as he will not be home for my *cough* 43rd *cough* birthday *sigh*...I will live he will be home the weekend following and taking me to dinner and Hobby Lobby! I can deal with that! lol
I haven't worked in my journal for a very long time and thought it was high time that I did...especially with the need to express how I am feeling...Sorry again for the depressing art but hey gotta do what ya gotta do! ;O)
So now...I feel like painting more! I like this art journal page even if it's on the sad side.
This was created in my winter art journal...file folders are my pages in this journal...I used Gesso, acrylic paints, decorative papers, misc papers laying about my desk and Neo II's (love those crayons!!) and stamped the number 13 using rubberstamps I bought awhile back from Traci Bunkers here where she now has them on etsy!
Going to go paint some more and tidy up a bit as the landlords are coming over to see how much paint the house needs on the inside so it can be painted in the spring.

This is my current entry into my new journal *seen in a previous post*...Ohhhhhh *giggles* I haven't shown any pages from this journal have I ?? lol It's sparkly! Can you see it? I also have beads and shiney things that hang from the spine of the journal, see em'? They usually hang on the outside of the book but thought I'd flip them over to the inside so you could see!
This journal has become a winter sort of journal with dreams and wishes for snow! I have made all the signatures out of those plain manilla folders! Hub gave them to me since I had no wallpaper to make the signatures out of! Love that guy!
As for that wish for snow...well...it sort of came true...erm....indoors! hee hee
Paper chains and paper snowflakes adorn our dining room/studio! Ok...so I was really really bored! lol
I thought the young ones would enjoy it! And they did! Their beautiful eyes lit up when they arrived home from school! We have more to make for our living room windows..so that will give us something to do when school lets out for Christmas!
Like I say if you don't have decorations...make them! :) Hmmm maybe some pinecone hunting and spray paint them white and glitter them up!
I think I will head out for a walk..

Remember this art journal??
Well I never finished it...So after not finding anything to make a journal with...YET! I thought I would dig it out and work in it a bit!
It is mostly illustrations...I didn't say good ones! lol But it is a good place for me to practice them!
Working on faces mostly...when I really should be trying to learn how to draw hands and feet! No can do...Not something I was ever very good at...but hey! I got the perfect art journal to try it out in! :)
And soooooooo...my morning illustration page for today....

I was sitting at my desk with much the same look on my face as this gals...Ok so it's a self-portrait..fffffft!
Me with my brownish-red hair (yes if you may know it came out of a box lol) and my hazel brown/green eyes(nope no contacts..I sorta omited the glasses I wear hee hee)
And my bright red night shirt..t-shirt type...just made it plain..but it really has on it the words..."Dear Santa...I want it all!" *snicker*
Gee...you think I could of drawn my bewbies a bit bigger! I look like I belong to the itty bitty titty commity! LOL Not that there is anything wrong with small titterz but maybe it is just wishful thinking they were something non-exsistant! Heck! Who really likes wearing bras? Really! The warmer it is the tighter they become and make you feel like they are going to cut off your air supply! lol And I must not have any shoulders...because the straps keep easing their way down off my so called shoulders! *hands up in the air* Why are we tortured this way? Who invented these contraptions anyways?! Like it's not enough crap we gals have to endure...Like sanitary pads!!! Gahhhh! Feels like a wad of paper between your legs and crawls up where the sun don't shine! Ha!! Go figure.......

Hello again!
This here is my morning page for today! A bit on the Halloweenish side! Created with decorative paper, vintage dictionary page and handmade papers and a few collage elements from TEESHA MOORE. The little bug people are clear tape transfers! And a few magazine scraps! Acrylic paint and oil pastels were also used to create this page!
Moving along...I thought I would show you some of the journal art pages out of my Cracker Box Art Journal that you have not seen yet..ok ok so I was lazy at scanning them LOL
This part is the inside front cover of my journal..where I wrote myself a letter about what and where I see myself in one year, one month and one day (1+1+1) using a prompt by LOVELIFE's blog. In my letter to myself I wrote feasible goals I could reach in one year...heck if I can remember what I wrote but I then put it in a painted envelope and sealed it to where I wouldn't be tempted to look at it! So on August 20th of 2008 I will break the seal to see just how far I have come! Cool hu!?
This next page is about how I will feel in one year one month and one day!
At the top it reads, "New Beginnings" off to the left it reads, "At peace with myself, clear mind and fresh ideas" and at the bottom it simply reads, "Rebirth" with a little piccy of yours truly! ;o)
I think I will stop with this page and save the rest of them for tomorrow!
While going through this rough patch here lately at home I was getting a bit disgusted (spell check on isle 5 plz) But I then thought to myself ... and said out loud, "You can do this!" Ya it's hard but why spend your time being in a *insert your fav word* up mood! I won't have it! Stand up and dust yourself off and try harder!
Then this morning I found this quote and said you know this has alot of meaning to it! Anything is possible!
