Let's go to the circus!!!

This was created with the idea of how my life can be a circus at times. I am sure some of you know how that goes! ;o)

Not a such a bad thing...but good...with out the chaos that daily life brings...things could get rather boring and stagnant! I think I spelled that correctly lol It is also, all the ideas, thoughts and visions that go on in my head! THAT in itself is a circus! lol  I am like the silly clown juggling everything that takes hold in daily life...with a side of comedy on the side! :O)

Alot of different images went into this piece and I can't even begin where to start with credits! There are days that I will sift through an image sharing site and start choosing images that trick my trigger and go through the vintage books I have collected and then it is on with all the cutting of these great images and have a small box that they reside in till I have time to sit down and arrange them to my visions!

I have also found me some really cool mailbox letters to use in my art...they are prisim letters (best description I can think of at this time lol) They sparkle and shine...Ooooo look at the pretty colorssssss LOL And glittery wings found at Hobby Lobby and a glittery star to give her crown a special touch!

I don't actually want to run away to join the circus...I am already there! ;o)

Sunshiney Day....

Holey Moley! We have sunshine here in Tennessee! After many rainy dreary days of rain rain rain and more rain! The sun finally came out to play and to let us know ...yes Spring is still coming!! The grass looks even greener...prolly from all the rain lol...the birds are happier...and me...I'm happy too! I can throw dinner on the grill tonight and not mess up my kitchen! LOL

Not much happening here at the old crow's homestead! Pretty quiet! Nice...I can handle that! Waiting for someone to bring me a tiller for my dream garden! It is so vivid in my mind! A pretty country/semi-secret garden! I have it all planned out and can see myself spending many hours tending to my garden! I can also envision fighting off many bees LOL Don't like those little buggers but they sure like me for some reason! lol But, If I want a garden it wouldn't be a garden with out the help of bees! Gotta have that balance of good and bad to find a happy medium ya know! ;O)

I am off to daydream some more and send mind vibes to the guy with the tiller! lol

Yay! I can post again!!!

 

A few goodies I found this weekend!!

Finally had to break down and purchase a whole new operating system for my computer...something was bad on my old one! It seems to be working just fine now! Yay!

 

More found goodies! I also found an Antique store that is near by home! Stopped in there and only got 1/4 the way through and then headed for the checkout desk where I asked if I could just move in! LOL I am going to be visiting them alot! hee hee One can dream right?!! lol

 

Now that I can post to my blog again...here is a box of vintage goodies my Momma sent me!! Oh my!! I love the whole box and could just hug it! Well, at least since I can't hug my Momma since she is 2600 miles from me! Thank you Momma! I love this!

Sorry so blurry! Both the Hub and I tried to get a pic of it but stupid camera ..if you move the slightest you get blurriness...Hello! I need a tri pod! LOL

This was created in some downtime this weekend...A lot of assembledge...mixed media...collage...paint ....etc....The central image is 3-D!! I build it up so the image would stand out...not sure what you want to call it...a shadow box? a diarama? Did I spell that right...***shakes head** who cares!! LOL I just am in love with it! It was a blast to put together...not really sure where the idea came from but hey it works for me! What's it made from you say??? A shipping box! Yup you heard me! lol I would like to make more of these...just not sure if I will use a shipping box!

I have got more art to show, but that will have to wait for another post!!! I got to go get my lazy bum ready to go..

It sure is nice to be posting again to my blog! Puter probs...still having issues...but thankfull for this once!

Thought I would let you know that there is lots of new things in my shop!! Didn't have the means to be able to tell you here this weekend! Ya! That puter issue thing again! Anywho! New art...collage element packets...vintage photo grab bags...So much to look at! You'll just have to go take a peek!! :O)

I've got ideas coming for my shop! New items in the works! Very exciting! Much to do!
