Come one come all and check out the sweet prices I've marked her art down too! hee hee! Yippy!! Fa la la la la ...la la la la!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tis' the season to be jolly!!!!!!!!
See you next year!!!! ;o)
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!
This is my current entry into my new journal *seen in a previous post*...Ohhhhhh *giggles* I haven't shown any pages from this journal have I ?? lol It's sparkly! Can you see it? I also have beads and shiney things that hang from the spine of the journal, see em'? They usually hang on the outside of the book but thought I'd flip them over to the inside so you could see!
This journal has become a winter sort of journal with dreams and wishes for snow! I have made all the signatures out of those plain manilla folders! Hub gave them to me since I had no wallpaper to make the signatures out of! Love that guy!
As for that wish for snow...well...it sort of came true...erm....indoors! hee hee
Paper chains and paper snowflakes adorn our dining room/studio! Ok...so I was really really bored! lol
I thought the young ones would enjoy it! And they did! Their beautiful eyes lit up when they arrived home from school! We have more to make for our living room windows..so that will give us something to do when school lets out for Christmas!
Like I say if you don't have decorations...make them! :) Hmmm maybe some pinecone hunting and spray paint them white and glitter them up!
I think I will head out for a walk..
Much love and hugs!

Hello Again! How was your weekend??
My weekend was spent painting! Yup! Painting! On canvas even! And since I don't like the texture of canvas...I collaged over the entire canvas with vintage dictionary paper...and then sketched out a simular image from my recent art journal onto the canvas and painted it in acrylics...I also used colored pencils and water soluable wax pastels!! So that was Saturday!!! "A Gift For Santa".
and then I took pictures around the house! Our Christmas Tree! Decorated in both vintage glass balls, and other vintage baubles, ornaments that both my girls and I made and our really lame gold tinsel lol but I love it! I have strings of pretty red beads but opted for the tinsel this year! Maybe next year and maybe some different ornaments...maybe not! We seem to be pretty partial to these homemade ornaments and the vintage ones that were once adorning the Christmas tree when I was just a little girl! I was so excited when my parents sent them to me to share with my little family!
And then on Sunday afternoon Peanut butter cookies were being made! Yum!
While cookies were in the oven...I was doing this...
Another canvas piece! Good ol Elmers Glue..It works LOL Can't afford the Goldens products right now..so it will have to do! :o) I started sketching out an idea I had in my head...
And then we had this and my sweet Hub stopped by my desk to take a peek at what I was doing and said two simple words..."Silent Night" Yes! I said! That is perfect! What a guy!!
I have been taking most of my art photos in my kitchen in front of my microwave! lol Perfect lighting! hee hee!
One weekend two art pieces and 4 dozen peanut butter cookies!!! I'd say it's been a pretty good weekend!!
Go ahead have yourself a cookie! Have 2 there's plenty more! Oops! One more photo to share...
A little blurry but none the less cute as can be! This is my "Christmas Annie"! Pssst! I made her! I used to make prim dollies quite a bit..in fact right before I discovered art journaling!
Whew! I'm tired that was one long weekend and one longgggggggg post! Think I will call it a night and go veg in front of the ol boob tube! Until next time!!
Much Love and Hugs! Merry Christmas Ya'll!!!!

Goodness me! Excuse me! hee hee Hub brought home Alka Seltzer Plus for colds. I was feeling rather ill yesterday and worse as the day went on. I was getting to the point of wanting to go to the hospital...NOT...cuz they have sharp things like needles! lol I am terrorfied of needles! Then my Hub plopped a couple of these fizzy miracles in a cup of water and I'm telling you that today I feel like a new person! It's still morning so we shall see! lol The good thing is that I don't hurt like I did last night! Every joint in my body hurt like nobody's business! Yuck! I did however..manage to make homemade pizza for my growing family of 6 going on 7! It was pretty darn good if I do say so myself! hee hee Hey! I still have my appetite! sheesh!
Back to the growing part of the family..On New Years Eve we find out what our oldest daughters baby will be! How exciting! I love the way the word Grandma rolls of my tongue! *sqeals* New Years Eve is also our youngest daughter Jessica's 9th birthday! In which we celebrate all new things to come with a bang of awesomely huge fireworks! We also do this for each of our childrens birthdays so that no one feels left out!
Anywho! The art above is one of the many many many pieces I have up for sale in my Etsy shoppe! "Hope Sings" My kids need new bikes and coats this year! Hint hint! :D I need all the help I can get...Santa's pocket book is quite empty this year! Hmmm! I just might throw in a little goodie package to boot as a Thank You! ;o)
Much Love and Hugs! Merry Christmas!!!! :o)

Hi!!! I am somewhere around here! Really!
Please excuse the mess here on my blog...trying to get it in order...ahem...hopefully soon!
I hope to get some Christmas'y photos posted soon from around the house! It's nutz I tell ya! Now remember I am not the best decorator in the world and ya just got to work with what ya got! So in the meantime...Enjoy the festive holiday music I added to my blog....and...
Here is a photo of my cat Mr. Felix under last years Christmas tree...Cheesy tree hu lol
I haven't done much art lately at least not to show just yet! I am mainly working in my art journal...just painting....nothing much else...trying to relax...feeling pretty sick like lately...so I am guessing that is my bodys way of telling me to slow down...ya right! Cookies to bake...pressies to buy and wrap...Christmas dinner planning (which is going to be a bit different this year...will elaborate on that in another post) Keep cats and kids (the big ones too) from under the tree...seeing how many times I can move things around till I am happy with the way the decorations look...Rest my ass! LOL
Time for a fresh pot of coffee and maybe a cookie for dipping (or two hee hee) and pray like mad for snow in South Carolina! Well!! You never know! lol
Much Love and Hugs!
